Prof. Victor Moshchalkov Appointed as HUST Guest Professor

On the afternoon of May 21, an awarding ceremony was held in the central auditorium of Wuhan National High Magnetic Field Center WNHMFC and Prof. Victor Moshchalkov from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven , Belgium was awarded guest professorship of HUST.

President Li Peigen and the leaders from WNHMFC attended the awarding ceremony. Ms. Li pingping from International Exchange Center of HUST hosted the ceremony and Prof. Li Liang of WNHMFC introduced the resume of Prof. Victor Moshchalkov. President Li Peigen issued the certificate and bestowed the gift to him.

Prof. Victor Moshchalkov expressed that it was his great honor to receive guest professorship of HUST and he reviewed the history of the whole cooperation between WNHMFC and K.U. Leuven and hoped that such friendly cooperation can keep on and get more splendid achievements in the future .

After ceremony , Prof. Victor Moshchalkov gave a lecture, entitled High magnetic fields: a powerful tool to probe nanoscale confinement for professors and students of WNHMFC. He analyzed and displayed the main effect of high magnetic field, high DB/Dr and high DB/Dt on the scientific research .
