Students Win 1st Prize in Computer Simulation Contest

It is publicly announced that the Mathematic Modeling and Innovation Base team with its members, Zhu Bangyi, Wu Kailiang and Yang Saiyong, exceeds other teams, winning the champion in the fourth National Computer Simulation Contest.



The National Computer Simulation Contest was first held in 2005, co-sponsored by the Department of Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, China Association of Automation, China Computer Users Association, Beijing Aerospace Autocontrol Research Institute and the journal Computer Simulation. It is hoped that the contest will facilitate understanding of computer simulation and help to strengthen the practical ability and innovative consciousness of technicians and students of this area. And any one, ranging from students to technicians dealing with computer simulation, is qualified to join this nationally scientific contest.



The fourth National Computer Simulation Contest started on June 6th, 2010, lasting two weeks. The contest focuses on several aspects of the participants, including the basic knowledge of computer simulation and simulation technology, the abilities to solve actual problems in engineering technology and scientific management by means of mathematical modeling and computer simulation. There are in total ten champions, twenty second places and thirty third places set up for the competition.
