On Mar 18, 2010, Prof. LUO Guolin from Department of Electronic and Electric Engineering, University of Strathclyde visited us. He is also an academician of Royal Academy of Science, Uk. Vice President Prof.JU Ping met with him. Dean Prof. YUAN Yue, College of Energy and Electrical Engineering and Deputy Director Dr. GUAN Yiqing, International Office attended the meeting also.
The both sides took a constructive discussion in student training and staff exchange. They both hope not only to develop 2+2 joint B.E. programme in the field of Energy and Electrical Engineering, but also to enhance the futher cooperation in dispatch of high-level graduate students and short/long-term staff exchange.
University of Strathclyde, founded in 1796, is world-famous as its excellent teaching and research environment. College of Engineering owns the largest-scale mechanical instruments in UK, among which the major in electrical engineering enjoys great popularity in Europe.
