Nanjing University Meteorological Observatory Unveiled

The Meteorological Observatory of Nanjing University (NJU) was unveiled by NJU President Chen Jun and Deputy Administrator Jiao Meiyan of China Meteorological Administration (CMA) on Xianlin Campus on the morning of April 9.

President Chen Jun addressed the unveiling ceremony and encouraged the School of Atmospheric Sciences to take this golden opportunity to promote its atmospheric research.

A ceremony was held later to name Ms. Jiao Meiyan adjunct professor of Nanjing University. Prof. Jiao Meiyan also delivered a lecture entitled "The Modernization of Meteorological Services and Challenges Ahead" to faculty and students of the School of Atmospheric Sciences, and answered questions raised by the audience.
