Tianjin Postgraduate Academic Exchange Festival opened in Tianjin University

On October 28, 2006, the Opening Ceremony of Tianjin Postgraduate Academic Exchange Festival (2006), co-organized by Tianjin University and Nankai University, was held in the Conference Building of TU. Leaders from Tianjin University and Nankai University, officials from local government and delegates from industries were present.

Postgraduate students from Tianjin University, Nankai University and 8 other local universities joined in the event. YU Lijun, Vice-Chairman of Tianjin University Council delivered a welcome speech on the ceremony. Tianjin Postgraduate Academic Exchange Festival (2006) is the first citywide academic exchange activity for postgraduate students in Tianjin.

With the topic of innovation , it aims at enhancing technology innovation and collaboration, and cultivating the Sci &Tech innovation ability of postgraduate students. The festival will last one year and consist of various activities such as Selection of Excellent Academic Achievements of Postgraduate Students in Tianjin, Forum on University Innovation, Exhibition of Innovation Achievements and so on.
