Germany:TV Textilveredlung to be staged in Stuttgart in Feb 2010

An extensive exhibitor survey has now confirmed the indications that were apparent when TV, International Trade Fair for Textile Finishing and Promotion, was last held in Stuttgart: the majority of exhibitors and the exhibitor advisory panel are in favour of a change in the day sequence.
The Sunday, which no longer attracts so many visitors, will therefore be dispensed with at the next event, which means that the trade fair will commence one day earlier than in the past. TV Textilveredlung & Promotion will therefore next be staged in Stuttgart from Thursday, 4 to Saturday, 6 February 2010.
The opening time on the last day will be extended by one hour so that proprietors of smaller companies will also have an opportunity to visit the trade fair without having to close their business. Textile printers, transfer printers, digital printers, flockers, embroiderers and experts from the textile areas of promotion and merchandising will therefore be able to obtain information on the latest products and services in their industries on all three days of TV from 09.00 to 18.00.
TV Textilveredlung & Promotion 2008 again recorded strong growth and attracted 150 exhibitors from 16 countries and 7,322 visitors from 41 countries. This corresponds to a 25 per increase in the number of exhibitors and 23 per cent more visitors. 24 per cent of exhibitors came from abroad; the corresponding figure for visitors was 14 per cent. With these impressive figures, TV once again underlined its role as the main European platform for textile decoration, finishing and promotion.
There are also good prospects for the next TV: 62 companies have already registered for 2010 with binding effect. By moving to Hall 1, the largest hall at the New Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre, the amount of exhibition space at TV 2010 will also double.
