Cuba : American handicraft fair kicks off

American Handicraft Fair that started yesterday in Holguin province is sponsored by Cuba’s Cultural Property Fund and will carry on till October 28. The event witnesses the presence of representatives from Europe and Latin America.
Hosting fashion parades and book launches, the exhibition will also be attended by artists from Peru, Gautemala, Mexico, Spain, Ecuador and Venezuela. Handicrafts made from wood, paper, vegetal fiber, ceramics, metal, glass and wax will be the center of attraction for the fair.
A panel of jury consisting of prominent artists will accord the best piece of work with the Grand Prix award.
