UK: Kate Moss 'to go into business with Sir Philip Green and Simon Cowell'

Kate Moss with Sir Philip Green at a fashion launch - the pair are tipped to go into business with Simon Cowell.

The supermodel, who was recently photographed with the two high profile men, could reportedly double her personal fortune to £100 million for her role in the venture.

The new company, which has yet to be named, would own the rights to Cowell's hit shows such as Britain's Got Talent and The X-Factor and then sell merchandise off the back of their success in Sir Philip's high street stores.

Sir Philip, who owns Top Shop and Bhs, and Cowell have known each other for many years, but this is the first time they have considered going into business together.

The pair met 35-year-old Moss in London at the end of June to broker a deal to get her involved, said The Daily Mail.

A source told the newspaper: "Kate has been signed as a figurehead and style setter for the fashion end of the business.

"She will also be involved in finding and signing new bands and promoting them. She has a big network of people they have no access to. In return, Kate will net a share of the profits.

"Her entire fortune would double within a year bringing her up to the £100 million mark."

In 2007, Moss joined forces with Sir Philip to launch her own fashion collection in Top Shop, which proved highly successful.

Corydon-born Sir Philip bought Arcadia - the umbrella organisation for Top Shop and Bhs - in 2002 and is said to be worth around £4 billion.
