Mar. 18, 2010 - Deloitte Austria and the online medium "B rse-Express" yesterday awarded a prize for "CEO and CFO of the year". The jury consisted of CEOs and CFOs of companies listed on the ATX Prime Market; they chose the winners in a peer voting.
In his first year as the CEO of RHI AG, Thomas Fahnemann was voted one of the Top 3 CEOs right away. "New on board, he consistently implemented an ambitious savings programme", the jury explained their decision and continued: "The shareholders thanked him with a substantial increase in the price."
First place was awarded to Wolfgang Leitner, CEO of Andritz, followed by the voestalpine CEO Wolfgang Eder.
Robert Ottel of voestalpine won the award for CFO of the year, followed by Willy van Riet of Wienerberger and Hans Tschuden of Telekom Austria.
