CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Municipal People's Government takes various measures, such as enhancing the financial capital support and some others, to ensure the power supply.
It is reported that Chongqing power consumption was 62.5 billion KWH and the highest load was 11.38 million KW in 2010, up 17.1 % and 15.6% year on year respectively. The coal production has reached 43.77 million tons in 2010, up 1.8% year on year, among which 9.43 million tons were sent to the power plant directly.
The power consumption and coal demand of Chongqing will reach 12 million KW and 19 million tons respectively in 2011.
