CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Yubei District said on March 17 that it will launch a city-level key project, building Liangjiang New Area Central Park. The park will have been built up and opened to the public by the end of October 2012, and 40% of the total project is expected to be done within 2011.
It is reported that this park located in the core area of Yubei Airport New Area and covering a total area of 1.5 square kilometers will hopefully be the largest city central park in west China. Northern part of the park will be mainly covered with squares and jungle; the middle part will be mainly covered with grassland and lakes; mountains and water bays will predominate in the southern park.
