CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Statistics from Chongqing Customs show that the total import and export value of Chongqing from January to February 2011 amounted to 2.53 billion U.S. dollars, realizing a year-on-year increase of 70%. The overall increase rate of import and export value nationwide over the same period reached 28.3%.
It is reported that the export value of Chongqing to the EU has doubled over the above period, realizing a total export value of 600 million U.S. dollars; moreover, the total import and export value between Chongqing and the United States amounted to 370 million U.S. dollars, increasing by 92.7%.
