CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The primary design of Chongqing-Wanzhou Railway and Chongqing-Guiyang Railway had been approved by the Ministry of Railways recently and the two railways will start construction in the 1st half of 2011, said Chongqing Development and Reform Commission on March 14, 2011.
With total investment of 26.1 billion yuan, the full length of Chongqing-Wanzhou Railway reaches 248 kilometers, including 116 kilometers in Chongqing. Fusheng Station and Changshou Lake Station will be added for this line.
With total investment of 51.6 billion yuan, the full length of Chongqing-Guiyang Railway reaches 345 kilometers. Luohuang South Station will be added to enhance the industrial development in Jiangjin Luohuang Area of Chongqing. (Translated by Zhong Jie, Fathom Language Limited)
