CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Marathon would start from Yanyu Park, Nanbin Road at 8:30 a.m. on March 18, 2011, said 2011 Chongqing Marathon Organization Committee on the afternoon of March 17, 2011.
Approved by the General Administration of Sport of China and Chongqing Municipal People's Government, Chongqing Marathon is co-held by Chinese Athletic Association, Chongqing Administration of Sport and Nan'an District People's Government. It totally sets up 4 competition events, i.e., male & female full marathon (42.195km), male & female half marathon (21.0975km), 9-km marathon and 5-km mini marathon, attracting over 12,000 applicants from 11 countries and regions.
