CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Water Conservancy Investment Group Co., Ltd. (CWCIG) releases on March 21, 2011 that the Group plans to invest 3 billion yuan during the 12th Five-Year Plan in the construction and expansion of 25 waterworks and 7 sewage treatment plants in 17 districts and counties of Chongqing to provide potable water for 2 million persons.
These new and expanded water supply and drainage projects are mainly distributed in 17 districts and counties like Jiulongpo, Nan'an, Fuling, and Yongchuan and the water supply capacity of 998,000 tons/day and the sewage treatment capacity of 198,000 tons/day will be newly increased, according to Wu Jiahong, chairman of CWCIG.
