CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Administration of Land, Resources and Housing releases that Chongqing has had 21,061 enterprises with housing fund system for 1.7814 million employees by the end of 2010, with coverage rate of 75.84%. The housing fund amount has reached 31.282 billion yuan during the 11th Five-Year Plan, 21.581 billion yuan more than that of the 10th Five-Year Plan, up 222.47%.
In early August of 2010, 28 cities including Chongqing, Beijing, Tianjin, Qingdao, etc. were listed as the experimental cities for housing fund supporting low-income housing. In February 2011, the first 1.3-bln-yuan housing fund loan for supporting low-income housing construction has been lent to Chongqing Real Estate Group to build low-renting public housing.
