CHONGQING(CQNEWS) -- The first batch of new-energy automobiles was complished on March 20, 2011 in the new plant at Chana Yuzui Base, indicating the 1st phase of the 100-bln-yuan Automobile City was put into operation.
By now, plant with an area of 150,000 square meters has been built up during the first phase, with an annual manufacturing capacity of 300,000 vehicles.
With a total investment of over 30 billion yuan and a covered area of 10,000 mu, the automobile town integrates the headquarters of Changan Automobile, the R&D Center, manufacturing bases of engines, components and parts, etc., as well as the Logistic Center.
