CHONGQING(CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Economy and Informationization Commission said that the total output value of local above-scale industries amounted to 140.9 billion yuan in January and February 2011, up 24% year on year. Increase rate of the industrial added value is 6 percentage points higher than the national average, ranking 7th in China.
Increase rate of 22 industrial products including steels and laptops reached above 30%, according to the commission.
In addition, development of private industries is also satisfactory. Total output value of the above-scale private industries reached 66.6 billion yuan in the 1st 2 months of 2011, realizing an increase rate of 32.6%, 8.6 percentage points higher than the municipal average.
