CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing has become a municipality in China which utilizes the loans from the World Bank (WB) for the agricultural comprehensive development to carry out the agricultural project of sustainable development. In this project, the adaptation to climate change and the agricultural emission reduction have become two objectives of the agricultural comprehensive development for the first time.
It is learned that the project has been carried out in Chongqing, Gansu, Xinjiang, etc. since its start in January 2011. The WB has provided 200 million US dollars, 30 million US dollars of which has been allocated to Chongqing, and Chongqing has confirmed 6 districts and counties like Yongchuan, Dazu, etc. will get the money for the implementation of the project.
