CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing will start the full coverage of rural and urban endowment insurance as the first one in China from April 2011 on. The government is expected to invest 3.46 billion yuan in 2011, according to Chongqing Finance Bureau on April 1, 2011.
After full coverage of endowment insurance is realized, 3.37 million Chongqing urban and rural residents will receive monthly pensions. The Central Government and Chongqing Municipality are expected to invest 3.46 billion yuan in 2011 and the investment will reach about 3.65 billion yuan a year in the future.
