CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The construction of Chongqing Liangjiang International Cloud Computing Center was launched at Shuitu High-tech Industrial Park in Liangjiang New Area on April 6, 2011, which means that Chongqing is not only the biggest laptop base in Asia, but will also become the largest off-shore data processing center in China.
The total construction area of Liangjiang International Cloud Computing Center reaches 2.07 million square meters, with the total planned investment of 40 billion yuan. Meanwhile, a data room of international standard covering 3 square kilometers is planned at the core area. Enterprise research & development, headquarters base, office building, five-star hotel and other life support facilities will be integrated into the center as well.
