CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The Poverty-relief Group of Chongqing Garrison Command convened the joint conference for poverty-relief recently, and decided through negotiation that 23 members of the group would jointly contribute a total of 2.045 million yuan (including drugs and medical equipment) in 2011 in an effort to help with the construction of 7 key projects in Fengjie including water facilities construction, etc.
According to the statistics, the Poverty-relief Group of Chongqing Garrison Command contributed poverty-relief fund, goods and materials of a total of 4.7341 million yuan to support more than 20 projects in Fengjie County, involving community construction, communication, medical treatment, schools, etc., which have been basically accomplished so far.
