CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Chongqing Administration of Customs (CAC) releases on April 7, 2011 that both the passenger flow and the material flow at Chongqing airport have greatly increased during the first quarter of 2011. There are 8,960 batches of imports and exports with the value of 571 million US dollars, respectively increasing by 80.32% and 235.9%, compared with those in the same period of 2010.
The main reason lies in the increase of midnight flights and chartered airplanes for cargo. In addition, for the construction of Chongqing laptop production base, CAC especially opens a green passage for IT products to keep their customs clearance time within 10 minutes.
