CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Construction of the 3rd channel for Sichuan-Chongqing electricity (the two-way 500 kilovolt line from Ziyang, Sichuan to Siyuan, Chongqing ), except Hongban line and Huangwan line, is expected to start in Sept. 2011, according to Chongqing Development and Reform Commission on April 8, 2011.
The estimated investment of the 3rd channel construction is about 4.7 billion yuan. According to the plan, the feasibility review of this channel will be completed by the end April 2011 and will get the approval in Sept. and put into operation before summer of 2012.
At present, two 500-kilovolt substations in Ziyang and Siyuan are in operation. (Translated by Li Yao, Fathom Language Limited)
