CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- ASUSTeK Computer Inc. on April 12 signed a contract with Chongqing to establish China 2nd Operation Headquarters of Asus Global Manufacturing Base in the High-tech Industrial Development Zone, so as to boost the local construction of the globallargest laptop manufacturing base.
According to the plan, Asus is to invest 150 million US dollars to realize an annual production capacity of 30 million intelligent terminals, and to build China 2nd Operation Headquarters of Asus, as well as its supporting facilities, at Shiqiaopu sub-area of Chongqing High-tech Industrial Development Zone.
