CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The team of experts, organized by the Standardization Administration of China (SAC), announces in Chongqing on April 14, 2011 that Chongqing National Hi-tech Industrial Standardization Demonstration Zone passes the national acceptance inspection. It is the only zone which passes the national acceptance inspection in southwest China at present.
In 2005 the SAC started the construction for the national hi-tech industrial demonstration zones and established pilots successively in 11 cities like Xi'an, Hangzhou, and Shenzhen. In October 2006 Chongqing National Hi-tech Industrial Development Zone was confirmed to be a national hi-tech industrial standardization demonstration zone by the SAC.
