CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- On April 16, some foreign teachers and students participated in the greening the Yangtze River and building a healthy community tree-planting activity held by Chongqing Municipal Education Commission in Fuling District.

On that day, a total of 22 foreign teachers and 272 overseas student representatives from 65 countries and regions arrived at Lidu Forest Park in Fuling District located alongside the Yangtze River to plant trees.

Statistics shows that the number of overseas students in Chongqing has reached 4,127 by the end of 2010, increasing near 30 times compared with that in 2003.
