It's reported that during the 12th Five-year Plan, Chongqing Water Affairs Group will invest 13 billion yuan in the water supply and drainage facilities construction in Liangjiang New Area. At that time, the daily water supply in main urban districts of Chongqing will increase 1.5 million m3 and sewage treatment will add 1.

To ensure the water quality of the drinking water source place and the ecological safety of the Three Gorges Reservoir area, Chongqing Water Affairs Group is speeding up the construction of sewage treatment project in Liangjiang New Area.
