CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- The total output volume of construction industry in Chongqing is expected to reach 1.6 trillion yuan during the 12th Five-Year Plan, bringing added value of 450 billion yuan. Meanwhile, outstanding enterprises including Chongqing Construction Engineering Group Corporation Limited will go public as a whole in 2011. Moreover, the total output value of construction industry in Chongqing during the 11th Five-Year Plan amounted to as much as 793.3 billion yuan, bringing added value of 216.9 billion yuan.
The responsible person from Chongqing Municipal Commission of Urban-Rural Development said that total output value of construction industry in Chongqing in 2011 had reached 290 billion yuan, which contributed 1.5% to the economic growth, realizing added value of 80 billion yuan for this industry.
