CHONGQING (CQNEWS) -- Aluminum Corporation of China Limited together with Sapa AB, one of the top three aluminium manufacturing companies in the world, will jointly establish a rail transit aluminium manufacturing base in Chongqing, said Chongqing Economy and Informationization Commission on April 20, 2011.
With the joint investment of 630 million yuan, the both parties will establish an aluminium manufacturing base in Xipeng Aluminium Industrial Zone in Jiulongpo District, Chongqing, which will be launched in 2011 and finished for production in 2013.
The base will mainly produce the special aluminium for rail application, which will be sold in Chongqing and other cities, with the expected annual output of 20,000 tons. (Translated by Zhong Jie, Fathom Language Limited)
