Hosted by Chinese Artists Association, Guangdong Artists Association and Guangdong Painting Academy, Shang Tao, a renowned artist from Guangdong, is holding an exhibition of freehand paintings of birds and flowers at Hall 1 until Dec.25.

Shang Tao, born in Beijing in 1938, was graduated from the department of the traditional Chinese paintings of China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1964, where he learned from Jiang Zhaohe, Li Kuchan and Ye Qianyu. he is now Class-A artist of Guangdong Painting Academy, member of Chinese Artists Association and council member of Guangdong Artists Association. The artist has held a number of solo exhibitions at home and abroad. His works have been collected by various organizations, such as the State Council of china, National Art Museum of China, Beijing Library, Australia Museum.
