The Administration of Dr. Sun Yat-sen s Mausoleum has always been maintaining cultural exchanges with National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. As the burial site of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, Dr. Sun Yat-sen s Mausoleum in Zhongshan Mountain Scenic Area serves as an emotional link between Chinese compatriots on both sides of the Straits.

As the only world cultural heritage site in Nanjing, the Ming Tomb serves as an important bridge for the traditional cultural cooperation and exchanges between both sides of the Straits. As institutions of cultural transmission, the Ming Tomb Museum and National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall have set up a desirable relationship of cooperation between each other in transmitting and developing the culture of the Ming Dynasty and the culture of the Republic of China.

By 2011, the Ming Tomb of Nanjing has been included in the World Heritage List for eight years. The Administration of Dr. Sun Yat-sen s Mausoleum has been dedicating itself to the protection and management of the cultural relics and the excavation and research of the cultural resources of the Ming Tomb for many years, thus having been continuously enhancing its international influence and attraction.

At Classic and Fashion Photography Exhibition A Dream Back to Jinling; the Charm of the Great Ming Dynasty elaborately prepared by the Ming Tomb Museum, more than 100 photos were displayed, all of which had been carefully chosen from a series of (nearly 1000) photos of the Ming Tomb taken by Mr.

Yu Liming (a photographer). With the relics of the Ming Tomb (a world heritage site) as their background, and furniture designed in the Ming style and fashionable dresses made from cloud brocades as their carriers, these photos not only highlight the concepts of classic and fashion, but also perfectly display the space-time relationship between the Ming culture and the modern life and their mutual agreement on art elements, by combining traditional Chinese culture and contemporary fashionable aesthetic concepts.

Therefore, numerous common folks in Taiwan were attracted to visit this exhibition. (Written by Wang Guangyong; edited by Chen Ken)
