Shimen Forest Park to be reconstructed into Experiential Park The reconstruction plan of Shimen Forest Park has been worked out. With the purpose to protect the ecological environment, the new design will rebuild some of the scenic spots and develop a number of recreational facilities, highlighting its functions of natural charms and health care with local styles and characteristics. Facilities of fitness, recreation, leisure and other functions show the people-first and humanistic care approach and the cultural characteristics of Nanning. The construction of travel trails, public facilities and open space settings will take full account of the needs of primary and secondary school students and the special needs of the elderly and the disabled so as to fully satisfy the public to experience and enjoy the nature.
