At the beginning of 2010, Hainan province was very honored to be the international tourism island. It was good chance for building Hainan island. To do something to push the process of building international tourism island was our responsibility, because we are living in Hainan.

How to build Hainan island to be the Hawaii of the Orient? There are a lot of things that we must do. The first thing that we must do is learning English. English is just only for any individuals, but our future. Hainan English square is opening for making those English learners get together.
July 24, 2010 was a big day for our centre. The long prepared English square was going to be held on that day. So nervous, so excited, so crazy, the opening ceremony started at 8 o'clock on time. Although just saying hello which is a simple word, the audiences felt happy like just at home. I knew when they felt happy, I felt happy. Every body was so high, when we sang "shalala" together. I can still remember the hot atmosphere at that night. Light, sound and people mix to be a whole. It was never calm when there were foreign friends. No matter what color are you, we are friend when we speak English.
No one can go away from the stream of learning English, because we are the host of Hainan Island. To make it more attracted need our effort. It is our mission to offer an environment for speaking English, also our attitude to welcome the foreign tourists. There are nothing can stop our contribution to Hainan island. As the slogan of our English square: we are in Hainan, we are of Hainan, we are for Hainan.
