On 24th June, we have opening ceremony of English Square. I still remember how exciting I am at that night. We are singing together, dancing together, and learning together.
Now, I want to share my feeling with my friend about the English Square. The first part was "guessing English word". In this part, I led a team with poor English, and they really put me into awkward situation. They had no any confidence with their own English, and in any way I tried to encourage them was useless. They refused again and again. So I had no choice but to ask some workmates to help me out of the awkward situation. The following part was" Passing the English Sentence", at this time, I did not give my own team any choice, they had taken part in it when the game began, they had no way to refuse anymore. And the most emotional part was the Free Talk part. The new speakers communicated with the foreigners in the simply way. Some time they even can not express themselves clearly, and they act with body language to make the foreigners understood them. How funny it was! In this way, I really felt happy to see the enthusiasm they paid on our activities. That meant our activities were effective for improving the people s English.
According to the activities, I have a new situation about myself. On the one hand, as a play girl, I did make a wonderful occasion for activates through singing and dancing, and built a good relationship with the participants through interactions with them. On the other hand, as an organizer, I lack of leadership and organization. I hope through such training activities to improve my leadership and organization ability.
