Hainan's drive to become an international tourism island is fully underway. In tandem with this campaign, a new tourist map was badly needed. Recently, the Tourist Map of Hainan International Tourism Island was published in Chinese, English, Russian and Korean, according to the Hainan Daily Newspaper of 31st August.
This is the first time that the province has published a tourist map in Korean.
The new tourist map contains information about travel in Hainan, maps of urban Haikou and Sanya as well as a map of Boao. It introduces the basic facts of Hainan with its transportation, famous scenic spots and travel routes. Furthermore, it focuses on Haikou and Sanya's travel routes, bus routes and so on.
