After getting approval to build Hainan into an international tourism island, the yachting business has become hip and hot. From January to June this year, eight training courses coaching people to sail yachts have been held on the island, and 118 out of 154 candidates passed the final exam and obtained a license to sail a yacht, an official from the Hainan Maritime Safety Administration recently told news0898.net.
By the end of May this year, the total number of people with a license to sail yachts totalled 206, whilst between 2008-2009, only 88 people obtained licenses. From these figures it is all too obvious that yachting is more popular than ever.
