In order to make it more convenient for office-workers, students and workers from other provinces to obtain exit and entry certificates, the Entry-exit management section of Haikou's Public Security Bureau has decided that from December 8th it will open from 19:30 to 22:00 on Wednesdays, 9:00 to 12:00 and 14:30 to 17:00 on Saturdays in addition to the current service times.
Normally, exit and entry certificates must be obtained on work days - time that is not available to many office-workers and students. Extending their opening hours is a convenient measure that demonstrates the people oriented and putting service first spirit of the Haikou Public Security Bureau. The certificates they deal with include ordinary passports, passes for Hongkong & Macao, and Taiwan along with residents' permits and visas for foreigners.
