A seminar on Island Climate Change and Tourism Development for Developing Countries took place on November 24th. 26 Officals from Tourism Departments from 17 developing countries across the globe attended the seminar according to the Haikou Daily. The event provided delegates with the latest information about development and protection of island tourist resources, the influence of climate change on tourism, trends in the island tourism market as well as tourism crisis handling and the development of Hainan International Tourism Island so as to provide references for tourism industries in other countries.
