The Gross Income of the Sichuan Tourism Industry has Reached 160.3 Billion RMB in the Last Ten Months, Exceeding Last year.

According to the newest statistics released this month, the gross income of Sichuan s tourism industry has reached 160.3 billion RMB in the last ten months, which is a 28.3% increase over last year. It has also reached record levels and exceeded overall tourism in 2009, which was 147.2 billion RMB. Therefore, people are saying that Sichuan tourism is growing from Still Beautiful to More Beautiful. It is anticipated that the gross income of Sichuan s tourism industry this year can pass 170 billion RMB (25.8 billion US dollar) and is expected to get to 2.5 billion tourists.
