The 2010 China International Travel Mart was held in the Shanghai International Expo Centre from November 18 to 21. Sichuan attended this year s CITM and built its booth using an image of a giant panda and elements from Sichuan s minority architecture. Martial arts, Tibetan dances, and local folk songs were performed in the booth. Volunteers also dressed in panda costumes to attract spectators during CITM.
The the Huanglong Winter Trip, Chengdu City Trip, Chuannan Nature Leisure Trip, and the Kangba & Shangri-La Trip itineraries were promoted heavily promoted this year. Zhanggu, the director of Sichuan Tourism Administration also attended the CITM and had meetings with CEOs of major tour operators in China.
