Winter in Jiuzhaigou, A Crystal Paradise- The 6th International Jiuzhaigou Icefall Travel Festival was Held on Jan.18th, 2011

The 6^th International Jiuzhaigou Icefall Travel Festival held its opening ceremony on Jan. 18^th at the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area. The deputy Director of Sichuan Tourism Administration, Mr. Xue Yaping attended the opening ceremony and announced the festival opens. More than 100 tour operators including international tour operators from Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Austrila, and Hong Kong. Reporters from Fuji TV, KBS, MBC, CCTV, and Xinhua News; all broadcasted the opening ceremony.

This festival will run from Jan. 18^th to Feb. 28^th. The theme for this year s festival is Jiuzhai in winter, A Crystal Paradise . During the festival, A Magnificent Aba, 2011 International Tourism Mart will be held. Other events like the Jiuzhai Tianlai (sound of nature) Concert, Lucky Jiuzhai The Tibetan New Year Celebration Event and Jiuzhai in Winter-Self driving tour will also be held. Tourists can come to Jiuzhaigou and enjoy its beautiful icefalls and snow covered mountains. People can also experience Tibetan and Qiang Minority customs here.
