The 2nd Chengdu Cherry Blossoms Travel and Culture Festival will be held from March 30th to April 15th on the shore of the beautiful Phoenix Lake. The main theme of this year s festival is Spring Comes to the Countryside, Share the beauty of Cherry Blossoms with the World . There will be 10 major themed events during the festival.
A magnificent opening ceremony will be held on a stage built on the Phoenix Lake on March 29th. It is said that several celebrities will also attend the opening ceremony. Golden Tom Clown Show directed by two American companies, will be one event of this years festival. A Talent show, Karaoke Competition, group blind date, and a European style wrestling show, will also be held during the festival. Tourists can also see replicas of world known sites like the White House while enjoying the beautiful cherry blossoms. For the closing ceremony, ten famous bands in China will attend and perform for the visitors.
