THE 22nd General Conference & 25th General Assembly of the International Council of Museums will run from 7 to 12 November 2010 in Shanghai, China, and will be attended by members of the museum community from all over the world.
During the six days of the Conference, the theme of "Museums for Social Harmony" will be explored and debated in and around the numerous International Committee meetings, the Open Forum and other sessions.
The International Council of Museums is the largest international organization of museums. Almost 28,000 members of ICOM in 137 countries participate in the national, regional and international activities of the organization: workshops, publications, training, twinning programs, and the promotion of museums
