THE World Expo attracted about 4.25 million people from overseas, accounting for 5.8 percent of total attendance, the National Bureau of Statistics said yesterday.
Two-thirds of overseas visitors were from Asia, including more than 1.5 million people from Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. A total of 318,600 visitors came from the United States.
