THE second Shanghai M.I.C.E. Task Force meeting was held on Aug. 12, 2010 at J.W. Marriot Hotel. Members from leading hotels, airlines, M.I.C.E. venues and PCOs in Shanghai attended the meeting.
Patrick Chen, vice director of International Tourism Promotion Department, Shanghai Municipal Tourism Administration (SMTA) introduced new members and SMTA`s 2011 marketing plan and the scheduled international association meetings before 2013. Chen encourage all members work together to promote Shanghai and deliver better values for clients.
Mr. Jurriaen Sleijster, First Vice President of ICCA was invited to deliver a speech and share his experience on how to attract more international association congresses to Shanghai and China as an industry leader and PCO.
