THE 2010 Shanghai Tourism Festival will be held from September 12 to October 6. Unlike in previous years, more than 70% of the performing groups taking part in this year`s grand parade will come from abroad setting a new record in the festival history.
The Tourism Festival is expected to give full play to the World Expo elements, from theme development, event forms, atmosphere, through to layout and other aspects which will form an interactive experience with the Expo. As part of the classic activities of the Festival, the floral floats and carts will be transported into the Expo Park providing the spectators with a totally unique experience of charming Shanghai.
