INDIAN dancers staged a 90-minute lavish musical "Ticket to Bollywood" at the Expo Culture Center last night, bringing visitors a flavor of the miraculous India and the glamorous Bollywood dance.
The troupe, made up of 40 renowned Indian dancers, performed with three diverse dances which were India folk dance, festival dance and wedding dance. Dancers in colorful costumes presented an energetic show as if unfolding a folk painting to spectators.
In the end, performers danced against the theme song of film Slumdog Millionaire, which swept eight Oscars in 2009. Visitors cheered for the enthralling Bollywood musical.
The spectacular is a whirlwind of color, emotion and energetic choreography. The show is a homage to one of the world`s greatest film industries, the Hindi-language film industry based in Mumbai, India.
