Write: Gaman [2011-05-20]
THREE top chefs are cooking up a feast for the stomach at the Gran Melia Shanghai Hotel to celebrate the week of Valencia, the seventh autonomous community of Spain introduced at the Spain Pavilion.
Jorge de Andres and Jorge Breton, two Michelin-starred chefs from Valencia, are collaborating with their Argentinian counterpart Mauro Colagreco in preparing the culinary experience.
Most of the ingredients come from Spain, and the rest from China, France and Argentina. Prices range from 528 yuan (US$77.42) to 788 yuan.
The week of Valencia runs from today to July 18.
There will be 17 gastronomic weeks during the Expo (one for every region of Spain), and the program will unite 49 Michelin-starred chefs.
