CUBAN bands stage a concert today to celebrate Cuba`s National Pavilion Day.
Cuban music, like its cigars and rum, are famous around the world. It reflects Spanish, French. Latin, African and creole influences. Expect an irresistible fusion of sounds and the urge to get up and dance.
The pavilion in Zone C is comprised of structures that give visitors the feeling of rambling in a Cuban town with its multi-funtional public square, shops, offices, homes, park and a bar.
Themed "A City for Everyone," the exhibition emphasizes the importance of providing equal opportunities for every resident and involving them in urban construction and transformation.
The Havana Cigar House showcases the history and culture of famous Cuban cigars, displays them and sells them as well.
Famous Cuban rum is also showcased - visitors can enjoy cocktails at the pavilion`s bar.
Cuban handicrafts and CDs are on sale.
